Guidance document on ethical considerations in research with children and young people

Ethical considerations in research with children and young people occur at all stages of the research process. They should be considered as an ongoing and reflexive part of the research process throughout the life of a research project. A copy of a CSCY ethical document:

1) Juego y vida cotidiana

El juego es una de las prácticas culturales más significativas en la infancia, la juventud y la adultez. Consideramos al juego como una puerta de acceso para comprender la cultura, las dinámicas entre sujetos y las relaciones que se tejen en, durante y posteriormente a cada juego disputado. Las temáticas, los roles, las elecciones, las normas, los resultados, todos ellos son elementos constitutivos de los juegos. Ahora bien, pensar al juego como actividad cultural supone comprenderlos imbricados con discursos que rodean a sus jugadores y las condiciones de posibilidad que éstos tienen para llevarlos a cabo. Jugar no es un juego. Hay, también, series de prácticas lúdicas que no son necesariamente consideradas “canónicamente” como juegos pero que los sujetos que las practican sí les adjudican un carácter lúdico. En cualquier caso, este número se abre a trabajos que aborden el juego como parte constitutiva e insustituible de la vida cotidiana. ¿qué significa jugar? ¿qué supone la ausencia de juegos o de percepciones lúdicas? ¿cuál es el lugar que en la contemporaneidad tiene el juego en la relación con pares significativos? ¿qué objetos se utilizan en los juegos? Todas estas preguntas organizan el arco que se incluye en la convocatoria del número 1 de la revista Lúdicamente.

Fecha límite de recepción de artículos: 20 de febrero de 2012.

2) Juego y espacios lúdicos

El juego se desarrolla cotidianamente en diferentes espacios. Las maneras en que los jugadores eligen dónde jugar dan cuenta de una gama de opciones con la que cuentan. Del mismo modo, la restricción de espacios de juego condiciona, claramente, el juego. El número 2 de la revistaLúdicamente abordará los espacios del juego tradicionales como la plaza, la escuela, la casa y la calle y los más novedosos como cybers o ludotecas públicas. La relación entre los juegos desarrollados, los espacios y los roles que en ellos asumen los jugadores operan como organizadores de la práctica. Es por ello que convocamos a la publicación de trabajos que problematicen la relación entre el juego y los espacios a él destinados como manera de aproximarnos a la complejidad de la práctica desde diferentes ángulos de análisis.
